A Historic Landmark
Kenwood was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 and designated a Chicago city landmark in 2011.

A legacy and future
We celebrate our rich legacy by continuing to serve the Kenwood community. But the realities of food insecurity, healthcare inequity, and racial injustice demand more than just worship. We are a faith community committed to the work of Christ, tackling these challenges head-on.
Service of Pastoral Affirmation & Installation
Join us Saturday, July 26th at 11a.m. for the Service of Pastoral Affirmation & Installation of Rev. Jamar A. Boyd, II. This significant event will celebrate Rev. Boyd’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to our community, and officially install him as our Senior Pastor.
This service will be a time of celebration, worship, and heartfelt affirmation, as we come together to support Rev. Boyd in his new role. We are excited to witness the beginning of this new chapter and to share this momentous occasion with you.
